I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember. I can easily say that it is the one consistent aspect of my identity that has journeyed with me for 26 years.
I’m a first-generation U.S. American, whose parents immigrated from Cuba in the 1970s. Born and raised in Miami, I moved to Orlando for my undergraduate, studied in Paris, and returned home only to leave once more for Ankara, Turkey. Since then, I’ve traveled to various places such as Spain, Austria, Peru, and more. I currently live in New York, New York and happily work as a Literature Teacher @ the High School of Art & Design.
I’m fortunate to have had a wealth of experiences that have left me sensitive and determined to share with the rest of the world. In a sense of gratitude, I’d like to give back what I’ve taken in.
